The philosophy of Liskeard Classic Cars is a very simple one: We want our customers to always be happy with whatever we do for them.
If that entails a full restoration or adjusting a handbrake, the aim is to make sure that the work is carried out professionally and at a price that is competitive.
We only ever work on a maximum of 2 vehicles at a time to ensure that things are done correctly and are finished when promised.
We also offer a full garage service for all types and makes of vehicles and specialise in MOT welding.
We operate an “Our Risk” car-finder service that utilises our contacts in the UK, Holland, Belgium, France and the USA. If we find you a car then we will guarantee it.
After serving a full technical apprenticeship with British Leyland, Alan Silverstone, the proprietor, went on to work in The Hague for Auto England and British Car Service, restoring all types of classic British sports cars.
On return to the UK he set up his own business near Okehampton in 1989 restoring mainly MG, Triumph and Rover cars. With a love of American muscle cars there was always the odd Mopar or Mustang being worked on as well and he would welcome having a few at our new premises...About 30 yards around the corner from the old place.
Having imported direct from the US and restored many “Yanks”, Alan has vast experience of working on a variety of such vehicles.
The new premises in Liskeard are on a secure CCTV monitored industrial estate that is easy to find and very close to the mainline station.
We now also service and repair Alfa Romeo with excellent discounts for AROC members
